More Summer Fun

Maverick has been a busy little guy so far this summer. He is so well behaved that we have been taking him to more and more events lately- dinners, baby showers, pool parties. He loves to be passed from person to person and enjoys people watching.

Aunt Lindsay fed him his bottle. And he kept making this face.

Our next door neighbors, Damien and Erin, have a precious baby girl who was born just 10 days after Mavvy. McCartney Page was born with Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (TAPVR) and had open heart surgery on January 22nd. She is a fighter and is now happy, healthy and growing like a weed! She and Maverick got to meet for the first time, and she is the only baby who has ever intimidated little Maverick! He was shy at first, which certainly suprised us! You can imagine how spunky little McCartney must be to intimidate Maverick David. But he quickly warmed up and before long they were sharing toys and playing together nicely. We are sure they will be life long friends!

Maverick loves swimming so much that we now take him every weekend. He can't get enough of the water! He splashed around with his cousins last weekend and had a great time. We are trying to get him to take cues from Ryder on how to sit back and relax in his float, but Maverick insists on getting out to surf and swim. This baby never stops moving. As his Aunt Nancy said, Maverick is a little intense. I guess he's just living up to his name.

The boys are good buds because they have a play date at Aunt Nancy's every Friday.
