Maverick's First Food

On May 16th, we gave Maverick his first real food, rice cereal. At first, he wasn't very interested in the cereal itself, but he LOVED the spoon! After a few days of cereal, he seemed to enjoy it more.

So, we decided to start introducing him to different tastes. We are going to give him a new food every 3 or 4 days (to make sure he isn't allergic to anything). We started with bananas, and he loved them! His little nostrils flared up and his eyes got really big and he grabbed that spoon! We are now on to peaches, with a similar reaction. We've quickly learned that the best way to feed him is NAKED!
