Unfortunately, Maverick had to leave the graduation party a bit early to go to bed because he was running a fever. It got worse later that night. We ended up in the emergency pediatric center the next day (Happy Mother's Day to me!) so they could run tests to try to find out where Mav's fever was coming from. The poor little guy was burning up for several days and they never did find out why. He got an antibiotic and breathing treatments and after a LONG week of cuddles and medicine, he finally feels much better. Poor little guy!
Even though he was sick, he had enough energy to take his teddy bear for a drive in his race car.
