Our littly baby isn't a baby anymore!! He is a big 1 year old!! On Wednesday, December 16, 2009, Maverick David turned 1. I absolutely can't believe that he is a year old. He is so big!!! We had a big birthday party for him (pics will come soon) and just loved on him as much as possible!!! We told him all about the day he was born and reminisced about the wonderful year we have had together. It has been the best year of our lives!! Here are some pictures from his actual birthday.
We woke up early so we would be ready for the little man to wake up. We made him blueberry waffles to eat for breakfast and loved on him as much as we could! His Grandma Pam came to watch him, and Grandpa Sam came over for lunch. I took him to my office Christmas party that afternoon, where he got to open presents and eat a lot of great food!
Ben and I took Maverick to Target after work so he could he pick out a special birthday present. He promptly chose this $2 baseball bat, and didn't want anything else!!! He is so economical!
Later, he took a bath and got to play with the bath crayons Blair and Clayton got him for his birthday!!
Happy, Happy Birthday Maverick David!!! You are the best baby in the whole world and we can't wait to watch you grow and learn this year!!!! We love you!!!!!
